Historic of the Farm

Located in la Châtaigneraie Cantalienne (Canton of Saint-Mamet), the property of Viescamp sticks to the borough of Pers (200 m from town hall) and is right next to the Saint-Etienne-Cantalès lake, a part of this lake having flooded 3 hectares of field of the property.

This rasing type agricultural exploitation of 45 hectares is exploited since 1962 by Mister and Misses Charles Lacaze.

In 1974, starts a touristic activity on the property which, with time, in the continuation of the exploitation will become a real leasure activity.
In the early 2000s, the two activities bind together :

  • The agricultural activity inside a Family Agricultural Groupment (GFA) and with the emergence of a "young agriculturist" Gilles Lacaze.
  • The touristic activity with a SARL, managed by Benoît and Cécile Lacaze. This last activity is the point of the site.
